Republicans in CT that voted against your rights

The following is some work I did today regarding how our CT Republicans voted AGAINST their constituency by voting away your firearms rights.

Let’s remind them of this when the primaries come around and we get rid of them and support their successor!

Markley, Adinolfi and Sampson invite you to a meeting to understand new gun laws

Senator Markley and Representatives Adinolfi and Sampson invite you to a town meeting this coming Monday to discuss the new gun laws.

6:00 – 7:00 pm
Municipal Center Public Assembly Room
200 North Main Street • Southington, CT

Face the State – Challenging the new gun law

I actually like the program.  Often giving fair time to both sides of the issue.  Hell, I’ve even been on the show.

Peter Sachs, Dan Haar and even a historical piece with former State Senator Abraham Ribicoff.  Interesting view.

Forgive the horrible page formatting, it’s in the code from the WFSB website and I don’t see a way to fix it.  I kept the post “as is” because finding these episodes more than a week after they air isn’t easy.

Norm Pattis attacks Disabled Americans for Firearms Rights

Norm Pattis is an idiot.  I want to use other language, but I’ll refrain.

Stating that the DAFR lawsuit is “dark theater” and “farce” obviously has ZERO knowledge of firearms use.  As an instructor who has instructed disabled persons, many of the new laws indeed do discriminate against disabled persons.  My mother would fall into this category.  She can’t exactly shoot a shotgun or a lever action rifle.  The recoil would be brutal on her scoliosis.  I took her out last year to shoot the AR-15 and she was rather surprised that she was indeed able to shoot that rifle.  That was an AR with an 18″ barrel.  We could make it a few inches shorter for her for self defense…… if only she could by one.  The new law forbids it.

Norm Pattis’ blog post on the topic just shows how delusional he is on the topic.  You can judge for yourself:
