Found some good videos on scope mounting and zeroing.
The FMG videos are a good intro, but I added a few more detailed videos as well as a couple from the NSSF. Good enough to give you a good foundation and get started.
Feel free to comment if you know of some good videos to add to this post.
The “Military Arms Channel” on YouTube is taking it back to basics. Here, they talk about the ATF 4473 form. What happens if you mess up filling it out? Where does it go? How long is it stored? Etc.
Midway USA has a lot of neat gunsmithing videos. Check out their site for the full videos. They often “chop them up” into smaller pieces on Youtube. Many, myself included, find the tiny videos annoying.
Well, they went ahead and put their AR build videos into two larger videos – upper and lower receiver. Now, they still have the intro graphics for each mini-video, which could have sped this up a bit, but it is good, solid information.
This video popped in my subscriptions list on Youtube and I thought this was a perfect video to share. I agree with everything in the video and would add one extra tip. With the slide closed, stick your finger in the barrel and try to “wiggle” it around. If it locks up nice and tight, chances are, you’re good to go!
